Job Description
Looking for a motivated and experienced administrative assistant for a busy private ENT clinic.
Duties to include:
1.) Check in and check out patient visits, which includes obtaining ID and Insurance cards, entering in demographic and insurance information, running eligibility and completing daily chart prep.
2.) Collect payment and manage patient balances.
3.) Assist with patient phone calls and messages.
4.) Create patient charts and schedule appointments.
5.) Assist in patient outreach for upcoming appointment details such as financial responsibility.
6.) Scanning documents and administrative projects as assigned.
This position requires the ability to manage a fast paced and busy work setting. The ideal individual should be self sufficient and capable of time and task management. Good customer service skills are a must.
Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required:
High School degree or GED
2 years medical office experience required.
HIPAA regulations and guidelines for both the doctors and patient data
Travel between 2 locations, Monroe and Blakeney/Charlotte
